Refer a business. Earn 25% of the build fee, up to AUD 300.

If you know a business that needs a new website, send them our way. Once they've paid for it and can no longer cancel, you get 25% of what they paid for the build, up to AUD 300.

For accountants, lawyers, bookkeepers and anyone else whose clients ask who could do their website, and for the businesses we've already built for.

How it works

  1. Sign up below. You get your own link and a short code straight away.
  2. Pass it on. The business uses your link, or types your code when they ask us for a quote.
  3. We get paid, then you do. Once they've paid for their website and their trial and cooling-off period have ended, we pay you 25% of the build fee, up to AUD 300 within 14 days, by bank transfer.

On a build of AUD 1,000 that's AUD 250. On AUD 1,200 or more, it's the most we pay: AUD 300.

The terms

1. The fee

The referral fee is 25% of the website build fee SiteFresh actually receives from the business you referred, up to AUD 300, whichever is lower. It doesn't include hosting, care plus, changes or anything else they pay us for.

2. When we pay it

We pay the fee only after both of these have happened: the business's payment to us has cleared, and their cooling-off period and their trial have ended without them cancelling or getting a refund.

We pay it within 14 days of that, by bank transfer to the account you give us. We'll ask you for your bank details then.

3. When a referral counts

A referral counts when it's registered with us before the business first contacts us, or when the business comes to us through your link or with your code. If more than one person refers the same business, the first referral registered with us is the one that counts.

4. New businesses only

The business has to be new to SiteFresh: not already a client of ours, and not already in touch with us about a website.

5. No self-referral

You can't refer yourself or your own business.

6. How you share it

Share your link with people you know, the way you'd mention any business you trust. Don't send bulk or unsolicited commercial emails, texts or messages to promote SiteFresh: that breaks the Spam Act 2003 and these terms.

Don't say anything about SiteFresh, our prices or our work beyond what's on this website.

7. Your ABN and your tax

If you refer as part of a business, give us your ABN. Without one, Australian tax law requires us to withhold tax at the top rate (currently 47%) from the fee and pay it to the Australian Taxation Office.

If you aren't in business, you can give us the ATO's "Statement by a supplier" form instead, and nothing is withheld.

You're responsible for your own tax on the fee.

8. If you're a professional

If you're an accountant, lawyer or other professional, you're responsible for meeting your own professional rules about referral payments, including any duty to tell your client about the fee.

9. When there's no fee

There's no fee where the business you referred doesn't pay us, or cancels, or gets a refund.

10. Changes to the program

We may change or end the program by giving 30 days' notice by email and on this page. Fees earned before the change takes effect will still be paid.

11. Our clients

Once you've paid for your website with us, your offer pack shows your own referral link. Using it means these terms apply to you too.
