What the form collects
The contact form asks for your name, your firm, your email, your phone number if you choose to give it, your website's address and any message you write. That's all. It goes by email to the person behind SiteFresh, which is operated by Fresh Site, and to nobody else.
What Get a Quote collects
Your answers stay in your browser until you give your name and email. From that point they're saved with your details: your trade, business name, website or what you do, what you need, roughly how many pages, your area, when you want it, the estimate you saw, your name, email and mobile. If you leave before the mobile step, what you've answered up to then is kept. It goes into the records of Fresh Site, where the people who run the business can read it, and we use it to call you about your quote.
If you came from an ad or a link, the address can carry campaign tags (utm values, and the click IDs Google and Meta add: gclid, gbraid, wbraid and fbclid). We keep those in your browser, in session storage, until you close the tab, and send them with your quote, along with the page you first landed on, so we can see which ad or link brought an enquiry. They aren't cookies, and we set no third-party cookies.
If an enquiry that came from a Google ad becomes a customer, we may give Google back that click ID with the date and the amount, so we can measure the ad. That doesn't include your name, email or number.
If I've called you
I keep a short note of the call: your firm, the number I rang, when, and what you said, including whether you agreed to an email. If you ask me not to call again, your number goes on my own do-not-call list and stays there.
Who handles it on the way
This site runs on a hosting service, and the form is delivered to my inbox by an email service. Both handle the message only to deliver it. I don't sell, share or add your details to any mailing list.
What I use it for
To reply to you, to build a preview of your site if you ask for one, and, if you go ahead, to do the work in the client agreement.
Previews
A preview is built from what your firm already publishes on its own website. It sits at an address that isn't published anywhere, and it asks search engines not to list it. If you don't go ahead, I delete it.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. The campaign tags described above stay in your browser until you close the tab or send a quote. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your browser's address when the page loads, as it does for any site using them.
How long it's kept
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Records of paid work are kept for as long as Australian tax law requires, which is generally five years.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
Email hello@freshsite.com.au and I'll show you what I hold, correct it or delete it. If you're not satisfied with my answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
